Wineries for climate Protection
We have the Wineries for Climate Protection certification, the first and only specific certification for the wine sector in terms of environmental sustainability under the umbrella of the FEV (Spanish Wine Federation). It has four objectives: reduction of greenhouse gases, water management, waste reduction and renewable energies.
430 Photovoltaic panels
Another very important pillar is energy, we have covered the entire roof of the production hall to be self-sufficient and we use all the energy that the sun gives us in the winery.
Innovative SME R+D+i
125.000€ invested in 4 years
The ambitious R+D+i project called “Diez Siglos – Procesos sostenibles para la elaboración del vino” (Diez Siglos – Sustainable processes for winemaking). The aim of this project is the development of a process to quantify, qualify and substantially improve the aromatic potential of white wines of the Verdejo variety of D.O.
The continuous research work has been developed during 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 with a budget of 125,000€, certified by an independent auditing company.
Integrated Waste Management.
Each of the wastes obtained in our production process is processed and recycled 100%.
We do not leave out any group, in 2018 we were certified as a 100% Vegan winery. All the products we use for must clarification are of vegetable origin, in our case we use pea and potato protein. Look for the vegan seal on all our bottles.
