Fermented for 8 months in new French oak barrels. It is not possible to produce it every year, as it is only done in the best harvest years. Its edition is limited to a few bottles.
The significant temperature changes between day and night and the long, very cold winters mean that the grapes are healthy and have enviable ripeness and phenolic maturity. The vineyards, just a few kilometres from the capital of Valladolid, crown the highlands of the northern region, the epicentre of the Rueda Designation of Origin.
This wine is made from the winery’s oldest grapes, grown on vineyards located on rocky terraces formed by the River Duero thousands of years ago.
