Diez Siglos CRIANZA

The concern of Diez Siglos does not end in the production of vibrant Verdejos, but in 2017, we ventured to produce a red crianza from one of the most important denominations of origin in Spain, Ribera de Duero.

Diez Siglos Ribera 2017 was elaborated with grapes purchased in the heart o Ribera del Duero, Pesquera de Duero. This vintage was marked by a medium-low rainfail with a hot and dry summer.

Previous selection of tempranillo grape in bush vine of low production vineyards, Diez Siglos Ribera is characterized by a long maceration of the grapes to get a wine of great structure and complexity. Aged 24 months in french oak barrels and until 2020, which was uncovered for it well-deserved rest in the bottle.

In the visual phase, the cherry red color is surprising, which denotes its youth with bluish edges. In the olfactory phase we would highlight aromas of black fruits, spices and a mineral background. On the palate it reminds us of the same touches as on the nose, in addition to recognizing a pleasant sweet tannin easily comparable to chocolate. Sweet and pleasant wine with a long drink.

Service temperature between 16-18ºC. Wine suitable for all kinds of tapas, sausages, smoked meats, beef carpaccio and stews. Polyvalent and very gastronomic.

In Diez Siglos de Verdejo we have been taking care of each of our vineyards for years just as our own grandparents. That way we get what for us is the best Verdejo wine in the world (what are we going to say). We put the best of ourselves in each of the bottles that come out of our winery and we find in the satisfaction of those who enjoy our Verdejo wine the main reason to continue with our work and improve every day.
